This course of study builds on the Masters in Educational Leadership and Management to prepare: Principals, Vice Principals, Educational Researchers, Ministry Officials, University/College Lecturers, Educational Administrators. The course is designed to strengthen the leadership capacity of prospective candidates who hold academic management positions or aspire to be leaders in educational institutions. It involves an independent research that is focused on actual problems in educational organizations, making the dissertation practical and relevant to educational leadership and management.

The Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership and Management will address the major issues and concerns in the education system. The aim is to deliver a programme of study in educational leadership which will equip school leaders with the requisite competencies for effectiveness.
