corporal and the staff officers at the level at three. The plan focuses on the Maintenance of Safety and
Security of Offenders, Risk Management, Rehabilitation Activities and Supervisory Skills.

 Career path – articulation and specialisation
After achieving this NSC20118 Certificate in Correctional Services level 2, individuals could progress
to NSC30118 Certificate in Correctional Services Level 3 or select from a wide range of other
qualifications in the National Security Industry.
