The programme is designed to prepare competent, professional teachers/ trainers of technical subjects for the education sector at the upper secondary and lower tertiary levels, training systems and also for industry.

After successful completion of the programme, graduates should be able to function in the capacity of Food and Nutrition Teachers, Food Service Manager, Food & Beverage Managers, Maître d, Food Analysts, Menu Planners, Meal Managers, Purchasing Officer, Community Extension Officer, Food Product Developer.
