University of the West Indies - Bachelor of Arts in Cultural and Creative Industries
The interdisciplinary B.A. in Cultural & Creative Industries targets students who recognize the key role of creativity and cultural diversity in the building of new knowledge economies. The programme is built on three pillars: academic knowledge, relevant competencies, and critical assessment of trends and developments in the field. Its graduates are thus equipped to handle the potential of artistic and creative outputs for wealth creation and income generation. Graduates of the programme are expected to be lifelong adaptable learners, critical and analytic thinkers, capable researchers and communicators. This programme provides a basis for postgraduate degree study in Cultural Studies and related subject areas.
