On completing this qualification for NVQ-J Level 4 in Hair Styling persons will acquire substantial depths of knowledge, skills and attitudes required to appreciate and demonstrate competence in the science of hair care, specialised finishing hair care services, manage client care, apply research and leadership skills, use Information Technology skills to enhance work role, cut and colour hair, style and finish hair, create hair styling concepts and style hair for promotional events. The hair stylist is responsible for establishing the final look for the client.
