University of the West Indies - Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics (Special)
This programme is for students who wish to understand that most central of human behaviours, the use of language. The programme explores the structure of language, the place of language in the life of communities, and engages students with critical reflection on the history of language in the Caribbean region. Graduates of the programme are expected to be lifelong adaptable learners, critical and analytic thinkers, capable researchers and communicators. This programme provides a basis for postgraduate degree study in Linguistics and related subjects.
