University of the West Indies - Bachelor of Laws in Law
The primary objective of the Bachelor of Laws Degree is to provide an academic qualification which is a compulsory prerequisite for professional legal training for lawyers in the Commonwealth Caribbean, however, the traditional basic legal skills of concise and pertinent oral argument, systematic and relevant presentation of essential arguments, clarity and precision of written opinions and detached and balanced judgment are an essential component of the course. The LLB degree enables degree holders to gain access to a wide range of careers. It is the pre-requisite for gaining entry into the Law School in order to obtain the qualification required to be admitted as an attorney-at-law.
