This qualification targets individuals aspiring to work in the Library and Information Services Industry, more specifically as a Library Technician/team leader. Participants in this programme ‘Library and Information Services Level 3’ will be prepared with the requisite knowledge, skills and attitudes to operate in the Library and Information industry as an autonomous skilled worker. They will undertake supervisory roles and will support leadership within the organization. The training will allow them to catalogue and classify material within a library, develop and maintain a classification scheme, manage the care and maintenance of the collections, acquire and process resources for access, promote healthy and safe workplace environment and lead and influence ethical practice in their
daily activities.
