NVQ Level 2 Art and Craft (Textile/Fabric)
Participants in this programme ‘Art and Craft (Textile/Fabric) Level 2’ are prepared with the requisite knowledge, skills and attitudes to operate in the Entertainment and Cultural Products industry as a skilled worker who will require clear directions on how to complete required tasks. They will be capable of occupying the position of Textile Production Technician. The training will allow them to demonstrate knowledge of how to operate various equipment being used in the production of textile/fabric, how to produce and repair textile products and perform other crucial operations relating to the production and preparation of textile products. They will be exposed to numerous artistic and cultural practices which will allow them to develop themselves as artists.

Entry Requirements:
Nil. Individuals may enter level 2 Certification in the Art and Craft (textile/fabric) with relevant level
vocational experience and qualification. Where lower level qualification plans exist, these MUST be
completed. Otherwise, evidence for competencies equivalent to lower level qualifications must be
provided at registration/prior to commencement of the programme /before certification. - Number of Credits: 15 credits
