The interdisciplinary B.A. African & African Diaspora Studies is for students who seek an opportunity to engage with the historical, sociopolitical and cultural connections between African diasporic populations and the mother continent. Graduates of the programme are expected to be lifelong adaptable learners, critical and analytic thinkers, capable researchers and communicators. This programme provides a basis for postgraduate degree study in areas such as History, Cultural Studies, Africa & African Diaspora Studies, and related programmes in the Social Sciences.
