University of the West Indies - Bachelor of Arts in Spanish
The B.A. in Spanish targets students who recognize that the study of foreign languages is critical if we are to live and work as informed citizens in our global society. The programme engages students in the deeply intertwined areas of Spanish linguistic and cultural competencies and prepares them for careers in the public and private sectors, locally and internationally. Graduates of the programme are expected to be lifelong adaptable learners, critical and analytic thinkers, capable researchers and communicators. This programme provides a basis for postgraduate degree study in Spanish, in Languages, Literatures & Film Studies, and in related subject areas.
