University of the West Indies - Bachelor of Science in Chemistry (Special)
The Special Chemistry option is designed for students who plan to pursue graduate research in Chemistry. In addition to the overview of concepts and topics provided in the General Chemistry major, the Special Chemistry option offers enhanced and extended studies in undergraduate chemistry and broadens and deepens students’ knowledge base and practical skills. Students pursue an undergraduate research project under the supervision of a lecturer and gain valuable experience in scientific problem-solving.
