 SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING PROFESSIONALS

This programme is geared towards producing professionals that are competent in Electronics and Alternative Energy. These strengths will allow the graduate to be able to adapt to the rapid development in these two areas and their integration to develop novel approaches and design solutions. Students graduating from this proposed Programme will be sought after for their mix of analytical and practical skills. The Programme prepares students to develop, maintain and troubleshoot the hardware and, in some cases, the software that drives today’s advanced electronics systems. These skills will put them at the forefront of technology with opportunities for employment in existing and emerging sectors, such as Photovoltaic (PV) System Design and Installation as well as Renewable Energy (RE) Management. Graduates will be highly trained and able to make significant contributions locally and internationally. The programme lasts for 3 years.
