Environmental Biology is a degree programme which prepares students to be leaders and innovators in sustainable development and conservation of the biota, in addition to their supporting abiotic resources. A strong emphasis on the dynamics within the marine environment; applications are made through the many field trips during the course of the study. The programme is designed to provide a detailed understanding of the concepts, strategies and practices available to scientifically investigate and analyse species, communities and ecosystems towards the successful monitoring, management and development of strategies for sustainable use of these systems.
