Medical Physics involves the study of the human body as well as devices/instruments that are used to assess and diagnose conditions that affect the body. It provides insight into different kinds of radiation that exist in the environment, and advanced techniques that are employed to detect and utilize radiation in the treatment of medical conditions are learned. Graduates of this programme are critical to the operation and management of life-saving equipment in health facilities worldwide. The programme lasts 3 years.
