This qualification is for supervised skilled workers who participate in a range of routine field and factory
work activities relating to Industrial Electronics. They work under supervision and are given clear directions on how to complete the tasks. They provide technical advice and some leadership in the resolution of specific problems. The knowledge and skills components are geared towards repairing, servicing, maintaining, and installing a variety of electronic and electrical system components such as pneumatics, hydraulics, motor starting systems, power supplies, electrical machines, and motor control systems.

After achieving the MEM20815 Certificate in Industrial Electronics, individuals could progress to Industrial Electronics Level III or a wide range of other qualifications in the Electrical Engineering and Metal Engineering industries.
