The BSc. in Labour and Employment Relations offers students the opportunity to learn how to examine the dynamics between management and workers. The degree explores work – how work shapes our society, how work is changing today, and what issues work poses for all of us as employees, employers, and citizens. The degree offers a path to a variety of careers. The major is particularly beneficial for those aspiring to work in the private or public, for a union, or for those wishing to become involved in industrial law. Persons trained in labour and employment relations will have a wide range of skills and knowledge applicable to many areas of work including: human resources, education, sports, and health.
