This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to be competent in a range of cemetery operations requiring specialized skills for gravedigging and or maintenance activities. The individuals will gain the necessary skills to prepare, dig and backfill graves, carry out grounds and garden care, general maintenance activities for graves, memorial sites and gardens and to perform
limited construction work to include constructing vaults, rendering and placing tiles on rendered walls. The individuals will be guided by the relevant regulations and acts to include Building Codes, sector Regulatory Agencies, Health, Parish Council Act and NEPAJob Qualifications include: Grave Digger, Burial Ground Custodian, Vault Builder, Cemetery Grounds Maintenance Worker.
