This Level 4 Qualification in Hotel and Restaurant Management Services targets individuals aspiring to be managers or individuals progressing in their careers. Hotel operations managers oversee the entire operations of a lodging establishment. Operations include human resources, housekeeping, security, public relations, food service, sales and finances. It is the hotel operations manager’s job to deal effectively with customers, bosses and staff workers while keeping the hotel running smoothly This qualification focuses on leading and managing the hotel operations which includes 4 main areas, namely Front Office, Housekeeping, Kitchen Operations, and Food and Beverage Services. Upon completion of this qualification, graduates can be employed to manage any of the four areas of hotel operations.
The value of this qualification is to provide the hospitality sector with trained graduates with the relevant skills knowledge and practical experience gained from research, self-study, directed study, and workplace activities.
