This qualification is for persons pursuing the qualification for General Science Level 2, who have successfully completed the qualification for NVQ-J Level 1 General Science or its equivalence. General Science is a science coherent unit encompassing topics mainly from Physics, Chemistry, Biology
and Agriculture. It is aligned to the CSEC Integrated Science Syllabus at grades 10 and 11. The participants trained in General Science Level 2 will be armed with a wide range of science skills and experiences which will enable them to explore water & the aquatic environment, investigate acids, bases
and mixtures, analyze features of living things, examine responses to the environment, comply with safety and health problems and solve electricity & lighting problems. This also gives participants the competence to pursue level 3 certification in General Science.
