This qualification is for persons who wish to participate in the Entertainment and Culture industry as Audio Engineers. The Audio Engineer works with the technical aspects of sound during the processes of recording, mixing, and reproduction in radio, TV, studio productions, and live events. Audio Engineers assist Record Producers and musicians to help give their work the sound they are hoping to achieve. There are several subfields of Audio Engineering that one can become involved in such as; studio engineer, recording engineer, sound librarian, and Sound Editor. These individuals will be required to work with other professionals and provide supervision along with clear directions on how to complete the tasks. The knowledge and skills components are geared to the specific task assigned.
