University of Technology, Jamaica - Master of Philosophy in Computer Science
Candidates who successfully complete the Master of Philosophy(M.Phil) programme can seamlessly articulate into the research-based Ph.D programme as appropriate, and those already with Masters degrees can access the programme at the appropriate base, depending on their academic standing and experience.
The Faculty requires a M.Phil candidate to complete a total of forty (40) credits on the programme, comprising of an eighteen (18) credits course work component and twenty two (22) credits research component.
Master of Philosophy in Computer Science started in 1999. The course is 18 months full-time and 24 months on a part-time basis.
